Book Release: Indra Owens, If Only She’d Listened

At this month’s Second Friday we are delighted to welcome Indra Owens as she releases her new book, If Only She’d Listened. Join us to celebrate her accomplishments, meet the author, pick up a copy, and get it signed!

Indra has been the recipient of numerous awards including, but not limited to Atlantic County’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2013, and the Black Image Award for Community Service & Engagement. Indra can now add “published author” to her list of accomplishments and is currently celebrating her book debut – If Only She’d Listened…the Afterthoughts of a Mentor, which is available on Amazon & Kindle. Other projects on the horizon for Indra are: publishing a co–‐authored book, that she wrote with her best friend and business partner, Automne Bennett, POW: Pearls of Wisdom. Starting the very first competitive Double Dutch Team in Atlantic City—using an old neighborhood pastime for girls but now turning it into a sports activity for urban youth to focus on mentoring, mental health, and healthy living.
