Mindfulness for Children (all ages)

It’s Sunday – you are running errands and you are dying for a cold refreshing smoothie and some you time. You drop the kids off for an hour while you enjoy a rejuvenating drink and a nourishing meal – when the hour is over, you are refreshed and ready to finish all the chores you neglected over the weekend.
THE TIME FOR SELF-CARE IS NOW.
But this isn’t just about you of course, it’s about self-care for the kids too. Our Mindfulness class for children is a 2-part workshop facilitated by school teachers Jen & Laurie. It is donation-based so whatever you can afford is more than enough. This is an hour-long workshop that will teach children different techniques for breathe, meditation & mindfulness. (or you can call it temper tantrum control)
Feel free to sit in on this class while your child/children participate or go up font to the Cafe and enjoy some lunch and maybe even live music. All ages of children are welcome. If there is a wide variety of age groups, children will be split into two groups – as the techniques may differ between ages. If there is attendance and seems that there is a need for this kind of workshop, we will certainly continue a series of workshops after the first two!
