Flo Rida, Dispensaries, Opportunity Zones – Tuesday’s Roundup

Lynda Cohen reports on the number of medical marijuana dispensaries Phil Murphy says we should have in New Jersey. Murphy said 10,000 new patients joined the program since the start of this year.

Grammy-nominated recording artist “Flo Rida” (not a Millennial, I checked) performed at the Borgata this weekend and afterward he went to Scores and the New York Daily News reported that a big group of the dancer ladies followed him out of the club and onto the Boardwalk, where they simply had a terrific time I’m sure, dancing etc. until 6:30 a.m.

Flo once wrote a song, apparently, about giving a dancer “a stack of cash and she goes on to open a legitimate dance studio for kids.”

Who’s to say really what’s legitimate. (h/t Jim Kennedy via Twitter)

Can “opportunity zones” revitalize distressed cities? That’s a question a lot of people are asking. Never seen it answered. Surely there must be a lot of data by this point. Anyway the business community likes them. The End.
