To be fair, Atlantic City government's been under different forms of state control for six years now, so local residents might not have been overly exercised by this latest takeover. Job Creation–Jeffrey Chiesa wants to hire a full-time assistant and pay that person between $120,000 to $140,000 to assist "the Director of Local Government Services designee during the take over of Atlantic City and/or designee with the administration of the city pursuant to the municipal stabilization and recovery act," the Philly Inquirer's Amy Rosenberg reports. Two arrested in Galloway motel robbery, assault–Two men were arrested Sunday, after they allegedly robbed a Galloway motel armed with a rifle and a tire iron. Police were called to the Tri-Way Motel on the White Horse Pike just before 8 a.m., and told that two men in white masks assaulted the owner/manager and stole some items before fleeing the scene, police said.
