Christine Chickadel from the Atlantic County Office of Disability will be talking to the group about the Personal Assistance Service Program. PASP affords eligible permanently physically disabled adults the ability to hire and direct their own personal assistant to aid them with their activities of daily living.

“My vision is to provide support and what’s necessary to help my fellow amputees accomplish their dreams and goals they set in front of themselves. Our meeting will provide a sense of comfort while being educated on the importance of limb health, the relationship with their prosthetic clinicians, proper fit of prosthetic device, knowing their limitations and striving to overcome obstacles, from stepping up on a sidewalk, to going for a jog.”
