JAWS AT THE BRIGANTINE SOUTHEND COVE BEACH!

JAWS hit the movie theaters in the Summer of 1975, and decades later, one of the most memorable lines of the film remains, “Don’t Go In The Water.” The New Jersey shore town of Brigantine, is ditching that warning, and encouraging moviegoers to plunge in, to capture the whole experience.
On Friday, August 25th, the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce will host an outdoor movie event, at the town’s famous beach area, The Cove.
The film will be shown on Eye To Eye Media’s Monster Superscreen, 18 feet wide LED Digital screen with theater sound, allowing guests to enjoy the film while sitting on the beach, drifting on your boat with the glistening skyline of Atlantic City as your backdrop, or, if you dare – floating in an inner-tube in the murky waters of the Atlantic.
Coordinator, Angela Reynolds, expressed her excitement for the upcoming movie. “We pride ourselves in Brigantine for being known for thinking outside the box to offer fun, innovative events, such as our highly popular Eagles Tailgate Parties on the Beach and our Annual Luau. We are very fortunate that our City continually supports our goal of building tourism and maximizing exposure for our town.”
Reynolds went on to say, how their event differs from others. “Nationally, there have been other venues that have shown the film in a water setting, but each of those has been in an area such as a lake or river. We are one of the first examples in the country of holding an event, such as this in tidal waters…it should be very exciting.”
The film will begin at 7:00 pm on Brigantine’s southend Cove beach. The Chamber encourages guests to arrive by 6:30 pm as we anticipate a large turn-out.
