April 14th, 2018 Smithville is honored to have a POW/MIA chair being installed in Historic Smithville. These chairs honor the soldiers who did not return from the Vietnam War. A POW/MIA chair in any location is to remain empty to help people remember that even though our soldiers are not here, there is still a space for them.
The event will be taking place on the Greene outside of The Tour of Italy Shoppe.
