Stockton University is holding a city-wide community street cleanup, a beach cleanup and graffiti removal project throughout the 6th ward in Atlantic City. Meetings take place in the Freeholders' conference room
Atlantic County government officials as well as Congressman Jeff Van Drew, Senator Vince Polistina, Assemblyman Don Guardian and Assemblywoman Claire Swift will be on hand to answer residents' questions about local services on Thursday, May 5 from 12 to 2pm. The event is organized as a quarterly open house by Atlantic County Clerk Joe Giralo.
Atlantic City faith leaders are encouraging everyone to come out at 5pm, wearing yellow, to join a city-wide 10-minute prayer. There will be faith leaders stationed at different blocks along Atlantic Avenue.
