Flooding

Saturday saw some of the worst flooding in the Atlantic City area since Superstorm Sandy. We compiled some social media posts that reflected the extent of the flooding, and residents’ humor in dealing with it.

Some of the more extreme flooding was in Ventnor Heights, as captured by this incredible video:

Drivers brought wake into homes and caused damage in Ventnor and Atlantic City:

This damage wasn’t caused by rising water. This damage was caused by a Fortune Insulation truck driving too fast in flood waters and pushing a big wake into my neighbor’s garage doors. pic.twitter.com/2MZI0vZ3Bi
