American Vegan Society December Celebration Dinner

The American Vegan Society will host their December Celebration Dinners at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 5 at Carême’s Restaurant located in Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts, 5100 Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing.
Culinary students will prepare and present a meal of exceptional quality under the guidance of Chef Educators Paula Carlson and Joseph Sheridan. The fresh gourmet root-inspired menu features five courses including pickled root vegetables, Jerusalem artichoke puree with quinoa cake, jicama and arugula salad, kohlrabi confit with French lentils, and lotus root upside-down cake.
Cost for evening: $36 adults, $26 students/low income
