Pelvic Health Support Group

Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation is offering a Pelvic Health Support group the 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will be on Thursday, October 19 from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. and will be held in the Pomona Room on the 2nd Floor of the main campus hospital off of Jimmie Leeds Road in Pomona.
The group is led by experienced pelvic floor therapists, Lynne Smejkal, PT and Mora Pluchino, PT, DPT. Discussions are based around pelvic health conditions, diet, exercise and treatment options. Common pelvic health problems include:
• Intersticial cystitis
• Pelvic floor weakness
• Incontinence
• Vaginismus/ painful intercourse
• Vulvodynia
• Coccyx and pudendal nerve pain
• Prolapse
• Endometriosis
• Constipation Issues
