Ventnor Summer Concert Series – De Tierra Caliente

The Ventnor Summer Concerts are back and we are kicking them up with some fantastic new bands from around the region.
De Tierra Caliente: A Latin party band whose music fills the air with bright colors and gets everybody up and dancing. Catchy melodies and unaffected lyrics fuse with Latin, Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms to inspire an irresistible North/South American party.
The flavorful style of this quartet was born while its members, from Philadelphia and Puerto Rico, traveled and lived in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia and began to mix their American roots with the diverse Afro-Latino rhythms that captivated them along the way. Since its formation in 2014, De Tierra Caliente has played over 70 shows in Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
The concert will run from May 28th to September 3rd, every Sunday. Each event is rain or shine. Shows with run from 6pm to 8pm.
Bring your beach chairs down to the Newport Ave Pavilion and enjoy free concerts every Sunday evening throughout the summer.
The Summer Community Concert Series features 15 bands from an array of genres including Blues, Country, Jazz, Jam Bands, and Latin music.
The Outdoor Summer Concerts are free community events presented by Amazing Ventnor and Hammer Fiber.
The setting is beautiful with the stage very close to the boardwalk on Ventnor’s lovely Newport beach. When the weather is nice, the pastel hues of the sunset and the glimmers of lights make it a magical venue for the world-class entertainment presented.
Concert goers are encouraged to shop our Amazing Ventnor merchants throughout the city. We encourage patrons to walk and bike to the event as well to free up parking.
