The Twin Poets (Al and Nnamdi) are both master level social workers that utilize their art as a tool for community engagement, empowerment and development. The Twin Poets, the 17th Poets Laureate for the State of Delaware, have performed national and internationally. The brothers were the subject of the Hearts & Minds Films documentary, “Why I Write” (2008), which chronicled their efforts to bring sustainable change in their home city of Wilmington, Delaware–one of the most dangerous cities in America.…
