With the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City scheduled to open this summer and the Ocean Resort Casino ACNJ (formerly Revel) on the horizon, Atlantic City is poised for growth. Yet with proposed expanded gaming in Pennsylvania, what could be the impact on Atlantic City?
Join us in February, as we hear from James T. Plousis, newly appointed chairman of the State of New Jersey Casino Control Commission. He will reflect on the first 40 years of gaming in Atlantic City and speak about the transformation going on in Atlantic City and what it means for the future.
About Our Speaker
A native of Philadelphia, Plousis has a law enforcement career that spans more than four decades. He has served as chairman of the New Jersey State Parole Board, Cape May County Sheriff’s Office, and U.S. Marshal for the District of New Jersey. In his position as chairman of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, Plousis oversees licensing Atlantic City casinos and their key employees, and holds hearings on appeals of decisions by the @State Division of Gaming Enforcement.
